(Written in a pissy mood, suspected to be PMSing)
There are so many things that I'd like to blog about but I can only keep those to myself due to various reasons. One being the fact that it involves other people who are not supposed to be involved in the first place. Another being the fact that I don't feel comfortable knowing certain people might read it...A private blog doesn't really make sense either so what I'll do is blog away and hit "save now" so the entry will remain accessible to me and me only. Unless my accounts gets hacked. O.O Which is quite possible since my password is a pretty easy one. It's a very n00b password. So n00b that you could prolly get it within the first few guesses.
I'm supposed to be getting some work done but I've put that on hold (I'm actually just distracted) because the flu bug hit me. I've been sneezing the whole darn day and the amount of wan tans I made could prolly fill a whole bath tub. omg help me.
My nose is gonna peel next because of all the friction with the kleenex I've been using. -_-
*Makes mental note to take Vitamin C tablets before sleep*
Can i just put a few camwhore-ish pictures and call it a post? That's what alot of people do anyway right? It's just that the photos put up are somewhat coherent with the whatever text that goes into the post.
Unlike mine.
There I was ranting (so annoying!) about me being sick and here I am about to put up a camwhore picture of my cousins, brother and I.
How is this picture even related to me being sick?
And this one? does camwhoring with my hot cousin have anything to do with my sneezing? Let's see if I could weave in a little story to make the picture look more relevant to my ranting.
This is Mnda and I. We entered this really warm room from another relatively colder room and decided to camwhore here, instead of in the colder room. I was sweating in my lacey top that had many layers but because of the sudden change of temperature, I started sneezing really badly.
There you go. Now you know the reason for these pictures. They don't seem to irrelevant anymore do they?
(still in pissy mood)
Life without photoshop sucks. Having to upload unedited photos is driving me nuts, which is another reason for why I'm pissy. Well actually photoshop wouldn't be that much of an essential tool for me if I had better photo taking skills.
You think posing can save your day? (from NERD - Rockstar) No, posing will never save your day, nor your hour or your minute so quit it or buck up. Btw I had shitloads of photos to develop for the family and all of them are post processing free so they are uglay =( (because I lack the skills to take a nice photo).
I better get back to work before I fall asleep on this couch again.
The rest of my psycho peeps have officially graduated last weekend. I was really looking forward to their convocation because I miss seeing these people I used to see almost everyday in lectures.
We went through all the struggles as students dying (studying) hahaha
Congratulations guys! I'm proud of you! All of you!
Yips! I haven't seen you in ages. Why are you hiding up North? Come work in KL! :p
Mike, I always go to him to advice. Mike is a good counselor and he knows how to make people feel good when you talk to him. (Sounded a little wrong hmm)
Hua Fu & Kok Wui. These two are some of the most active peeps in the department. The student council presidents, peer support group, mentoring malaysia...they seem to be involved in all the clubs around. Smart guys. But annoying. Haha
Daniel the funny guy, always fun to have him around. He's got a really unique and contagious laugh. Omg I think I still have his book I borrowed years back. T_T
Btw, her name is Esther and she belongs to Roberta.
Congratulations dear!
Alot more photos but those will have to wait until I'm in the mood to continue posting up pics.
How I should smell.
If you've been reading my blog or you know me long enough, you would know how sensitive I am to smell.
I have a fear of bad smelling people and with that I obviously expect myself to smell good all the time. I carry mints with me all the time, I have an additional bottle of EDT on my desk and also carry miniature perfume in my bag with me.
While everyone else was busy working, I popped by the Ascent event with a few of my colleagues to see whats it all about earlier today.
Ascent, is all about helping you find a fragrance that suits you, your perfume personality. I find this sort of program really interesting because I do find it difficult to purchase a bottle of perfume. There's so many brands and scents around, how do you people choose?
Based on popularity? The design of the bottle?
I find it a struggle to get myself a fragrance that is not only something I like but more importantly suits my personality to help me *ahem* present myself *ahem* more appropriately in my erm daily life.
Anyway, the event was packed with beautiful people.
Spotted a few local celebs there as well.
Awesome finger food from DOME was served throughout the event.
and David the ladies man..
Oh Iza aka ThePinkStilettos was also there with her sister.
After a little mingling, William introduced Ascent to the guests. This was when I found out that I was not at a launch of a new fragrance but a program to match your fragrance to your personality.
William was sharing how technology has made this whole program such a breeze to carry out. Basically, Ascent developed an iPhone App to match your personality to the type of fragrance out there that suits you, this is all pretty new to me. I'm only familiar with the old school way of sniffing perfume after perfume with coffee bean intervals when it comes to buying perfumes.
No need for the old school way no more, everything could be settled with the iPhone application!
Pretty Liza was there to guide me through this step by step process of finding my perfume personality.
My results!
I'm not gonna share how the process is, go try it yourself at one of the Ascent booths available at Parkson Pavilion KL from 29th April to 5th May 2010!
My perfume personality is Seductive, apparently.
*Flips hair*
After finding out our perfume personality, I was handed the perfume that suits my personality! I was so happy because I didn't expect them to give us each a whole bottle of perfume and also because that is the fragrance I've been wanting to get since the dinosaurs were still around. *tears*
Nicholas got his bottle as well and proceeded to strike a seductive pose with it.
By the way, I should be smelling like DKNY's be delicious in Fresh Blossom!
Yummy Yummy been wanting this for so long!
So now I know my perfume personality and how I should be smelling like. *winks*
I have something else I want to talk about fragrances. Any of you heard of not giving perfume to your partner as a gift? I forgot who advised me about this when I was looking for a present few years back. I have a bottle of EDT I bought for my bf then and it is still sitting on my desk till today because I came across this myth. Apparently it will sort of distort your relationship if you buy your partner perfume? I don't know what kinda myth is this but a few of my psycho friends and i deduced that it could be related to pheromones.
Reason being you are attracted to your partner by pheromones and buying them perfume would sort of alter the way they smell and hence, interfering with that attraction between you and your partner? Anyone care to correct me if I'm wrong? I think I am cos I'm simply yakking away without googling. haha!
Have nice smelling day y'all!
....Train another Bruce Lee.
Because Ip Man is Bruce Lee's Master and Bruce Lee is missed by alot of people.
image from www.strangekiss.com
and because Bruce Lee was the one who inspired westerners to embrace the art of Chinese Kung Fu.

And I'm a proud Chinese because of that...even though I'm afraid of Chinese food.
For myself though.. If I am Ip Man master, I would want to create my own bubble and stay forever in it. I want world peace and I want all my loved ones to be in that bubble with me.
We would all be safe from attacks of back stabbers
And ghosts
...just to name a few.
Yes. I would love all that.
This is a picture of me getting my Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu thing going on.
....via Wii.
I am creating my bubble.
Yay gonna watch Ip Man 2 very very soon all thanks to http://www.gsc-eonbankcard.com/
I'm a sucker for crowds..big crowds because I love being around people. Get me to concert and you'll see me all hyped up. Get me to a bazaar and I'll be even happier because I could shop while enjoy being in the presence of awesome people.
Bah talking about this is making me miss events like Urbanscapes, Sunburst and the most recent one I've been to..St Pats!
picture stolen from my awesome boss Timothy.
One thing in common about these events are that they are in the outdoors. I don't normally enjoy being in the outdoors but somehow or rather I'm rarely disappointed with the outdoor events I've attended so far, sometimes even the unexpected downpour would potong stim a lil but I still enjoy myself very much at events like this.
I wish I brought my camera to St Pats so I would have more to post up :( But for now, I could only steal from the few people whom I snapped pictures with.
Something in common that I like about these outdoor events is Live music.
Eugene the rocker
It's always therapeutic to feng tao to some awesome songs. I try my best to layan any type of music, heck I was even screaming and trying to move to some of the lousy songs at Hennessy Artistry this year. I'm quite universal when it comes to music but I'm starting to appreciate songs with good lyrics more.
Most of the awesome outdoor events also have vendors displaying interesting items on sale. I love bargain hunting for artsy fartsy crap which explains the mess I have in my room. (I'm supposed to clean it :( )
picture stolen from @andygts
Oh and food! I've had some of the most awesome food at Urbanscapes and this lamb burger from Bull Dog Jestina and I had at St Pats was not too bad either. However, I really really wanted the Jarrod & Rawlins's Guiness Beef Stew with Mash that was sold out by the time I got there T_T. I could use some right now seeing how I waited for more than an hour for dinner tonight and walked out of the restaurant because I got sick of waiting!
As happening as any event may be, it's the people I go with who makes things better (or worse).
One thing though about attending any outdoor events is the tendency to sweat. I'll always be in sleeveless to avoid nasty underarm sweat stains but I'm also in dilemma especially when it comes to taking pictures because I have fat flabby arms.
I used to be able to cover my arms with my mane but not anymore since my hair is short. -__- So i guess the only solution would be to use antiperspirant. Can't seem to find one that actually works for me because I get immune to them with use.
Did i also mention that I've an extremely sensitive nose that enables me to detect the slightest traces of bad bad BO..unfortunately. This is inevitable especially in outdoor events in Malaysia..so poor me and my nose.
Speaking of body odour, I wonder if this Gatsby range is good though? It's only for men right? o_O Have yet to find out about the product but seems to me that they're having a street fair this coming April 17th at the front foyer of Berjaya Times Square from 10 to 5PM. Is the street fair for ladies as well? Don't discriminate us females can?
I want to go grab some cool gadgets and participate in the lucky draw for RM15,000 can? Or at least watch some silly dudes sumo wrestle in air bag suits and fight gladiator style *giggles*
Sounds like heaps of fun and something I'd enjoy. Plus point of this event is prolly less people with bad BO seeing it's organized by Gatsby hahaha! I sure hope they'd give out samples that day so it would be a pleasant smelling event. We shall
